Job Title: Billing Investigations Manager

Location: London

Reporting To: International Billing Director

Salary Midpoint £50k

Overall Purpose:

To develop processes which will enable the resolving of billing disputes. Overall responsible for driving and managing these processes of resolving billing disputes by determining the accuracy of disputed invoices and providing proof of the accuracy or corrections of inaccurate invoices.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

To establish and develop processes that will enable billing disputes resolutions quickly and effectively
To interpret and analyse data from various sources in order to assert the correctness of disputed invoices
To manage preparation of case files for legal action
To provide material to prove the correctness of disputed invoices
To conduct where necessary investigations to full resolutions including root cause analysis
To liaise with customers both internally and externally to provide the data required to satisfy these objectives and meet their requirements
Meet with internal clients to resolve disputes in Our client’s favour
Establish and build relationships that ensure there are no overlaps in terms of actions with other International Billing Managers.
Define tools to improve the effectiveness of the ongoing work
To manage the billing investigations analyst and to grow the team as appropriate

Staff/Financial Responsibilities:

People: One direct report

Virtual team responsibility for investigation employees within the IS Team.

Working Relationships:

Customers: OpCos

Suppliers: MIS, Network Operations, International Security

Qualifications and Experiences: (E = Essential; D = Desirable)

Experience in Fraud Investigations D
Knowledge of Suspense Analysis D
Revenue Assurance experience D
Billing Investigations experience E
Billing experience E
Telecomms experience E
An understanding of the end-to-end process of the call rating process, from the switch billing event creation through to bill printing E
