JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Line Cost Analyst

Location: London

Reporting To: Manager, INTL Network Cost

Job Holder: TBA

 Overall Purpose: Through analysis of vendor payments and in conjunction with internal colleagues, ensure cost reductions to the business are made in line with overall company strategy. To derive traffic distribution information from call records.

Principal Job Responsibilities:

  1. Receive, code and enter invoices in tables and databases.
  2. Compare vendor invoice data with Our client data as part of the audit function.
  3. Prepare schedules in support of invoice approval or dispute.
  4. Meet with vendors to resolve disputes in Our client’s favour.
  5. Analyse the cost effectiveness of Our client switched routing.
  6. Identify cost saving initiatives in network and customer access.
  7. Project Manage internal/external changes to reduce costs.
  8. Provide data for reporting. Progress quality and reliability of reporting.
  9. Reconcile cost minutes against revenue minutes.
  10. Reconcile cost rates against revenue rates, to check we are not under recovering our costs.

The above involves the manipulation of vendor provided call data for analysis against

our own data.
